After working as a designer for a famous toy brand for 32 years and became Grandpa, Ged started to review hundreds of toys designed by himself over the past few decades.Soon, he found the problem: Most toys are designed with the need for parents to buy a gift for their kids. Rather than considering the needs of kids, such as what life experiences,joy,and knowledge they can gain from the toy. So Ged and his colleagues co-founded VANLINNY in 2013.
During the past ten years, Ged has traveled to more than 20 countries, shared his designs with the local children,and received their feedback. VANLINNY’s toys are produced by factories in China, Vietnam, Singapore, and India. To find the most healthy raw materials and strict manufacturing process, Ged visited hundreds of factories. And he finally chose five of them. Today, you can buy VANLINNY toys in more than half of the countries in the world.
